The Ropewalk Tavern is located in the heart of historic Federal Hill at 1209 South Charles Street. We are just one and a half blocks south of the Cross Street Market. Look for the American flags proudly displayed on the front of our building.

Parking is available at the West Street Parking Garage, located just around the corner on West Street between S. Charles and Light Streets.

Come early on Friday and Saturday nights to get a space before the garage fills up!

Driving Directions from Downtown Baltimore:
From Lombard Street, turn left onto Light Street.
Turn right onto Lee Street.
Turn left onto South Charles Street (first light).
After the East Cross Street traffic light (third light), drive one and a a half more blocks.
The Ropewalk Tavern is located on the left side of South Charles Street.

Driving Directions from South of Baltimore:
Take I-295 North into the Baltimore city.
Turn right onto Hamburg Street (between the Oriole's and Raven's stadiums).
Turn right onto South Charles Street.
After the East Cross Street traffic light (first light), drive one and half more blocks.
The Ropewalk Tavern is located on the left side of South Charles Street.

Driving Directions from North of Baltimore:
Take I-95 South to Exit #55 - Key Highway.
(Note: This is the first exit after the tunnel. You must be in the far right lane.)
At the exit light, turn right onto Key Highway.
At the fifth light, turn left onto East Cross Street.
At the second light, turn left onto South Charles Street and drive one and a half blocks.
The Ropewalk Tavern is located on the left side of South Charles Street.
